Postnatal Fitness Classes
Postnatal fitness classes are designed for parents who want to get fit with their baby. You can register for a single class series below. Alternately you can Purchase Unlimited Me & Babe unlimited monthly pass and take all our postnatal classes and some adult classes to get back into shape with your baby and on your own for “me” time!
All classes consists of a workout followed by a discussion about various relevant postnatal topics. Meet other parents and babies from the neighbourhood and get fit at the same time! New parents can participate regardless of prior experience. Classes are all 4-week pre-registered series or option to take unlimited classes. Drop in anytime during a session!

Me & Babe at Liberty Movement
Our Me & Babe program at Liberty Movement is where postpartum strength meets smart, thoughtful training. We combine the best of yoga, Pilates, and functional lifting with clear, evidence-informed instruction designed specifically for moms. Learn how to move safely, rebuild your core, and regain strength—while understanding why each exercise matters for your postpartum recovery.
Meet Laura & Elle
Laura and Elle bring years of experience, passion, and deep knowledge to every class they teach. Elle is a seasoned movement educator and certified doula, supporting moms through every stage of pregnancy and postpartum with informed, compassionate care. Laura—founder of Momma Fit—has been training and empowering mothers for years, blending her expertise in Pilates, yoga, and strength to help women move with confidence.
Together, they’ve created a smart, supportive, and feel-good lineup of postpartum classes designed for real moms with real bodies. Choose the path that fits your needs:

Me & Babe – Barre Fusion w/Elle
This barre class is done with your baby. Barre focuses on posture core strength and flexibility. Inspired by a blend of ballet, strength training, and Pilates, barre-style classes use the ballet barre and a variety of equipment. The results? A long, lean, and strong body. New moms can participate regardless of prior experience but need to be prepared to work!

Ab Rehab for Postpartum Moms — “Me & Babe Core Restore”
Rebuild your core safely with a postpartum Ab Rehab program designed for new moms, including those recovering from a C-section. This gentle, effective series focuses on reconnecting your deep core, strengthening your pelvic floor, and addressing common postpartum concerns such as diastasis recti, lower-belly weakness, and scar-related tension.
Grounded in classical Pilates principles, each session guides you through safe, controlled movements that support healing from the inside out. Perfect for bonding time with baby and tailored to your unique postpartum needs, this program helps you restore stability, improve strength, and regain confidence in your body.

Me & Babe – Lift and Stretch w/Laura
an energizing, intermediate-level class designed for parents and caregivers ready to rebuild strength and stamina after baby. This dynamic class combines functional strength training, low-impact cardio, and targeted mobility work to support postpartum recovery while increasing overall fitness. Core and pelvic floor integration is emphasized, alongside movements to release common areas of tension such as the shoulders, hips, and back.
Babies (pre-crawling) are welcome to join—either incorporated into the workout or resting nearby. This class offers a motivating and supportive environment for those looking to reconnect with their bodies and feel strong again after birth.

Join us this fall with a variety of classes to keep you fit with your baby! All classes are ongoing Fall schedule starts Monday September 8th. Choose from Stroller fit, Pilates Fusion and Lift and Flow all with you and babe in tow!
Me & Babe - Stroller Fit in Dovercourt Park w/Elle
Ongoing- Join anytime!
Join us for Strollerfit. Great for parents and babies of all ages!! More than a stroll in the park! This is a class designed to get you fit after baby with a low-impact cardio workout. Meet other parents in this fun but vigorous class in Dovercourt Park. Class meets by the playground at the center of Dovercourt Park. Class runs rain or shine, so be prepared to face the elements!
Class is suitable for c-section recovery. New parents can participate regardless of prior experience.

If you are unable to attend a class that you’ve signed up for, please give us a minimum of 12- hour notice, otherwise your class will be debited from your account. We would appreciate receiving as much notice as possible.
- Cancellations may be done online by logging into your account, over the phone or email.
- Schedule is subject to change with or without notice.
Studio Etiquette
- Please arrive 10 minutes before class to allow time to sign in and register
- Please turn OFF your phone there is phone use allowed in class
- Please refrain from wearing scents/perfume to avoid allergy sensitivity for others.
- We practice Yoga and Pilates barefoot; please remove socks and shoes outside the studio. Toe grip socks are available for purchase if needed.
- We wash mats and props weekly, and students wipe them down after each use. They're free to use, but you may bring your own mat if preferred.
- Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in and are a breathable material.
- Yoga & Pilates are practiced on an empty stomach; avoid eating 2 hours before class.
