Module TWO: PMI 2-PC 2

  • Teacher Training for certification in Pilates Mat based on Josef Pilates’ Contrology classical Pilates method.
  • This is the second course in Pilates Mat teacher Training
  • Prerequisite: Part I Pilates Mat Certificate Course, 30 hours of personal practice, 25 hours of practical teaching (these hours are logged independently).
  • Learn the advanced Pilates mat repertoire and hands on adjustment techniques.

    Module THREE: Using props roller, straps and weights

    • A continuing education course designed for certified Pilates Mat instructors who want to expand their skills using small apparatus and props.

            Module FOUR: Ball Pilates and Magic circle

            • Module 4 – Ball Pilates in Pilates Comprehensive Training or CEC applicable
            • This 12-hour continuing education course is designed for certified Pilates Mat instructors who want to expand their repertoire using the Swiss ball.
            • Participants will learn to integrate the ball into classical Pilates exercises to enhance core stability, balance, strength, and postural awareness.
            • The course covers:
              • Safe setup and positioning for exercises on and around the ball
              • Techniques to challenge stability and increase proprioception
              • Modifications and progressions for different skill levels
              • Programming and cueing strategies for group or private sessions

                  Module FIVE: Springboard Pilates

                  • A continuing education course designed for certified Pilates Mat instructors who want to expand their skills.
                  • Comprehensive 12-hour weekend module designed for Pilates teachers in training who wish to expand their repertoire and teaching skills using spring-based resistance. Rooted in the principles of classical Pilates, this course explores the Springboard as a powerful tool for strength, control, alignment, and functional movement.
                  • This training builds upon the foundational Pilates mat work and introduces the Springboard as an apparatus that enhances body awareness, supports proper biomechanics, and provides both assistance and challenge through spring resistance.
                  • Participants will learn:
                    • To teach safe, effective, and progressive Springboard sessions for a wide range of clients and bodies.
                    • Overview of the Pilates Springboard and its classical application
                    • Proper setup, safety guidelines, and spring selection
                    • Fundamental and advanced Springboard exercises

                                              The Mat & Springboard Full Test-Out & Examination module is designed for experienced practitioners seeking certification without completing the full module series. This pathway allows candidates to demonstrate competency in classical Mat and Springboard Pilates through a structured evaluation process.

                                              Entry into the test-out is subject to approval and is intended for individuals with prior Pilates experience and a solid understanding of foundational repertoire, technique, and teaching principles.

                                              This module ensures that all candidates meet the same professional standards as those completing the full training program, with a strong emphasis on movement quality, clarity of instruction, and safe, effective teaching.

                                              1. Written Examination
                                              The written exam evaluates theoretical knowledge, including:
